Expansive Creativity
Expansive Creativity workshops build new dimensions of creativity in a relaxed social setting. Combining verbal and non-verbal practices, explore a nuanced methodology for accessing and activating multiple ways of knowing to inform and enhance your creative expression and your wellbeing. Through a facilitated sequence, one rule prevails: follow pleasure. This generative process encourages attuning to intuition, enhancing skills of observation, and deepening personal understanding for innovation, artistic expression, community building and social transformation.
I am pleased to offer this methodology for expanded creativity through guided facilitation:
to access and activate our creative capacity
to uncover and understand aspects of our work that are not yet clear
to be in process in an ethos of generativity and mutual respect
to increase patience with the discomfort of navigating the unknown
to approach challenges with curiosity
to consider vantage points different from our own
to be open to shifting our perspective
to recognize, honor and present the inner life
to notice and be informed by our emotions
to cultivate the curiosity and courage to experiment, innovate and honor “mistakes” and “failure” for what they have to teach us
Tailored to be inclusive and welcoming to people of all backgrounds, Expansive Creativity is a workshop developed in the lineage of the image work of Art Therapist Pat B. Allen, and her daughter Rabbi Adina Allen, who merged it with text study in The Jewish Studio Project. As a Creative Facilitator Fellow, I am so pleased to bring this process to you.
